ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

The college imparts the education in Ayurveda at UG level-Bachlor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. The UG course of  ayurvedacharya (B.A.M.S.) is of  4.5 years followed by 12 months internship. Professional course divided into 4 parts. First three parts are  one year programs and last forth part is of  1.5 year program. Admission is made  through NEET at national level annually. Time to time, the college organize departmental, state, national, international level seminars and other government programs.

 

The Deptt. of  Rachana  Sharir (Anatomy) having one dissection hall and a museum along with donated cadaver, so that the Students of B.A.M.S. first year clear their confusions through well qualified faculties by the dissection and demonstration practically as well as theoretically. 

 

Museum- The museum of  rachana sharir department has numbers of specimens, sectioned specimens, bone sets and models etc. In D.H., regular dissection are demonstrated to students through out the year. 
The department of dravyaguna is having a herbarium and crude drug museum where in more than 200 herbarium specimens are kept. 
The museum of agadatantra, vyavharayurved Evam vidhi vaidyak  department has animals & plant based poisonous specimens.
In the department of  rasa shastra & bhaisajya kalapna a raw drug museum for minerals and metals is separately established. 
Rest departments are well furnished with their concerned models, charts and specimens etc.

 

Library- Institute has its own central library. Library has good collection (approx 12000) of  books on Ayurveda as well as Modern Medicine. The books are classified into General/Text books and Reference Books. Book Bank facility is also available for students of weaker section of society. Separate seating arrangement is made for teaching staff and students in the reading area of the library.

 

Herbal Garden- The College has own Herbal Garden and consists of exquisite collection of rare herbs, plants and trees. The Garden houses more than 1000 medicinal plants and have of a Demonstration Room. For Clear and easy identification nameplates of the plants with Sanskrit and botanical names are placed to help the students and public. Efforts are still on to increase the present number of plants.

Admission is made through NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). Required documents for the admission are-

  16. Fee Structure- For General Category- Tution Fee-15,000+Extra Fee-3,000+Development Fee- 3,000+Admission Fee (one time only)-1,000 (Total-22,000 Rupees)      
  17. Fee Structure- For Reserve Category (OBC, SC, ST, EWS)- Tution Fee-7,500+Extra Fee-3,000+Development Fee- 3,000+Admission Fee (one time only)  (Total- 13,500 Rupees)
  18. Hostel Fee (Payable in one instalment)- Double Seated-Rs 150/= per month with Electricity Charge Rs 200/= per month.(Total- Rs= 4200/ per anum)
  19. NSC of  Rs 4000/= as caution money (at the time of admission only and refundable on completion of the course successfully)
